GALLERIA



Volevo mettere una galleria delle immagini di moda. Per criticare come la industria di moda vede le donne. Non solo i Calvin Klein ed i Guzzi ma anche la industria cosmetica e di farmaci. Pillole per dimagrire. Donne magre e seminude. E va bene. Ma mettendo delle immagini che non piacciono perché quasi stanno vendendo l'anoressia e la bulimia che vinco? Un paio di click di più dalle ragazze che cercano delle immagini per il supporto..? E se avessi il testo solo in italiano non andrebbe. Un visitante angloparlante forse non capirebbe che è critica...

Allora la galleria c'è. Le immagini. Critiche. Perché vogliono far vedere le donne così? Ma decido di non mettere le immagini online. Non serve. E poi aprite una rivista femminile. Quante pubblicità per le pillole dimagrenti o creme anticelluliti ci troverete? O passando davanti ad una farmacia riuscite a vedere meno di dieci pubblicità dei culi (sempre anticellulite e pillole dimagrenti)? Io no. Ma dico BASTA

Voglio un cambio. Che posso fare? Poco. Ma se reagiscono più di una persona.. se tutte le donne un giorno si stanchino per essere viste come sono, qualcosa cambia. Assolutamente. Se a me non piace come Calvin Klein o Gucci o chiunque sia fa vedere le donne, NON COMPRO nulla da loro. Magari se ho tempo ed un francobollo da sprecare li scrivo anche perché.

E và, ... metto o non metto la Galleria di critica? Okay...

I wanted to make a Gallery of the offendings of the mode. Only to criticise the way the mode and teh diet industry sees the women. To criticise the way Calvin Klein, Gucci or others see the (ideal women). But then I asked myself why... do I really want to put that online? I would only gain a couple of clicks of the pro anorectic girls seeking 'thinspiration' or motives and encouragement to become thinner. I didn't want that. So I thought to leave the Gallery out.

It's far too sufficient to open a womens magazine. At least in Italy. I bet the English speaking countries aren't any better. South America is even worse. How many thin women, diet pill or anticellulite adds do you see in a magazine? Or in a day? Can you pass by a pharmacy in your country and NOT see any buttoms selling diet pills or cellulite creams? I thought ENOUGH.

Alone one can change only little. But if one day all the women get tired... and quit simply buying the things sold by the worst offenders, sure something will change. I buy my clothes elsewhere. If i feel I have time and a stamp to spend I might write a letter to the offender and tell why I won't buy their products anymore.
